Important:
- Installation should be carried out on a dry, clean, and smooth surface to ensure maximum adhesion.
- Before installation, the mat should rest for about 1–2 hours in the room where it will be mounted. Equal temperature of the substrate and the self-adhesive layer allows the adhesive tape to work optimally.
Installation:
- Make sure the stair tread is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, and other impurities. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth, degrease, and then dry thoroughly.
- Starting from one end of the mat, slowly remove the protective film from the self-adhesive layer. Be careful not to damage or soil the adhesive.
- Evenly and gently attach the mat, starting from one end. Gradually press it onto the surface to avoid air bubbles and ensure strong adhesion.
- After attaching the entire mat, press it evenly with your hands or a roller. This will improve adhesion and remove any air bubbles.
- Leave the mat for several hours to allow the adhesive to fully set. Avoid using the stairs during this time to ensure a durable installation.
Important information:
- Installation should be done carefully the first time, as removing and reapplying may reduce the adhesive tape’s durability. A damp surface significantly reduces adhesion strength.
- For the use of our products, the surface should be smooth and well cleaned (degreased). For uneven, porous, or textured surfaces, an additional PVC assembly/contact adhesive should be used.
