How to install shower seals?
1. Prepare the surface
Thoroughly clean the edge of the shower cabin glass from deposits, limescale and dirt. A clean surface ensures better fit and tightness of the seal.
2. Adjust the length
Measure the length of the glass and if necessary, cut the seal to the appropriate size - use a QUEST miter box or a hacksaw for plastics. You can use scissors or a knife for cutting. Precise adjustment will facilitate proper installation and aesthetic appearance.
3. Seal installation
Slide the seal onto the side edge of the glass. Press it evenly along the entire length so that it adheres well and does not move during use.
4. Done!
The seal is immediately ready for use. The shower cabin gains better tightness, and the bathroom remains dry and clean.
Tip:
Make sure the glass thickness matches the seal (6–8 mm). Perform installation at room temperature – this will increase the flexibility of the material and make fitting easier.

Installation of PVC shower seals:
Tools:
- Scissors (utility knife, hacksaw blade)
- Measuring tape
- Optional: Isopropyl alcohol or degreaser – for cleaning the glass.
Important:
- Installation should be carried out on a dry, clean, and smooth surface to ensure maximum seal fit.
- After installation, close the shower door and pour water along the edge where the seal is installed.
- Check for any water leakage – if present, press the seal more firmly or adjust its position.
Installation:
- When replacing a seal, remove the old one and clean the surface by removing any adhesive residue or remaining material. Thoroughly dry the surface – this ensures a better fit of the seal. Make sure there is no limescale, soap residue, silicone, or other contaminants.
- Cut the new seal to the required length using scissors, a utility knife, or a hacksaw blade.
- Gently open the slot in the seal and slide it onto the glass, pressing firmly.
- Slide the seal into its final position.
Cleaning and maintenance:
- Simply wipe the seals with a soft cloth once a week.
- Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents – they may dull the material.
